Surgery
Surgery at Advanced Animal Care Center

At Advanced Animal Care Center, we offer a wide variety of surgical services from routine spays and neuters, laceration and lump removal to more complicated orthopedic, intra-abdominal and laparoscopic surgery. Along with elective surgery, we are qualified to perform anterior cruciate repair surgery, meniscal repair and patella surgery.

Our operating room is well equipped and provides modern inhalation anesthetic techniques with state of the art cardiopulmonary monitoring, a ventilator, thermo care patient heating system, pulse oximetry and continuous technician observation. We take pride in our equipment, our qualified technical staff and our modern patient monitoring systems. Any surgical procedure should be discussed and scheduled during your pet's exam.

Prior to surgery, each patient receives a thorough physical examination to identify any existing medical conditions that might endanger his / her health. Because not all problems can be detected on examination, we also recommend pre-anesthetic blood testing. These tests not only give us a more complete picture of your pet's health but also allow us to create an anesthetic protocol tailored specifically for your pet.

Pain management is a part of our pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative anesthetic and medical protocol. All surgical patients including those undergoing routine procedures receive pain control medications.

Our humanity is not measured by how we treat other people. Our humanity is measured by how we treat animals.
