Rita Maltese

Rita Maltese - Licensed Veterinary Technician

Native to the area, Rita graduated from Half Hollow Hills High School East. After high school, she attended SUNY Farmingdale and earned an Associates Degree in Animal Science with a major in Veterinary Technology in 1991.

A full-time technician at Advanced Animal Care Center since July 2006, Rita has been in the animal health care field since 1990. Happy with the teamwork at AACC, Rita truly appreciates the compassion and level of care given to each patient.

Proud mother of 8 dogs, Rita volunteers at an outreach program. During her free time, she loves playing with her nieces and her numerous dogs. They include Fluffy, Junior, Cookie, Foxy, Reggie, Sara, Pepino and Pee wee. Whew!

 

Shannon Lazlo - Licensed Veterinary Technician

A full-time technician at Advanced Animal Care since March, 2008, Shannon loves working with animals and enjoys being part of the friendly, caring medical team at AACC. She graduated from Suffolk County Community College in 2005 and went on to receive her veterinary technician license from the state of New York. When she's not at the hospital, Shannon loves being active and can be found playing softball, going to car shows and racing. She also enjoys going to the park with her Boxer, Stanley and hanging out with her cat, Freckles.
